Smiles McGee
I don't even know if that's a real saying, but it's what popped into my brain. Smiles McGee. JJ's first real smiles started around 5 weeks old, and we knew they were real smiles because she smiled with her whole face, her whole body even. She hasn't stopped smiling since.
And Avery decided she wasn't done with that carseat yet, climbed in and had a nap.
Fota
Jenna and Cath were kind enough to invite us to Fota, it was our first time, it was great, I think we'll definitely go back!
Halloween Parties
Avery got invited to a Halloween party by the little girl next door. And we also went to the Larsson's again for trick-or-treating. Avery picked out her costume all by herself, she just wanted to play with the stethoscope...
Open Farm
This summer an Elder who served in the same mission as Andrew and his family moved here for a short term contract with Apple. We had a great time getting to know them and Avery loved playing with Stella. Just before they left we went to the open farm with them and Gordon made friends with a camel.
Newborn photos
So a photographer was offering free newborn shoots as she is preparing a book on how to do newborn photography, only catch was she was in Dublin. I still wanted to do it so it gave us an excuse to see Nana and Grandpa off in the airport. And to go to IKEA. It's the simple things really...
Anyway, Greta at Memory Beans Photography took some great images and I got to see how it's done as I've always been curious, you need a warm room and lots of patience. Here's a few of them. JJ's 8 days old here.

The Rock of Cashel
While my parents were here we visited the Rock of Cashel which they had not seen yet. Avery was posing the whole time and JJ was sleeping the whole time.
Myrtleville Beach
This summer Ireland had an incredible heatwave, upper 70s every day and no rain for 3 weeks straight. Seriously, since I've been here it has never been this hot for this long. It was crazy, people were walking around like we were in Hawaii and the beaches were absolutely packed. This trip was made with the Roy's and Larsson's.
